After scheduling a last-minute doubleheader against the University of Michigan-Dearborn (10-4) for Friday afternoon, the UDM (2-6) softball team got out to an early lead and didn’t look back in the first game en route to a 9-2 win, but the Titans tumbled in the second game and fell to the Wolves, 10-2, in six innings.

In a late addition to the 2010 schedule, the University of Detroit Mercy softball team will now play its home opener tomorrow, Friday, March 19, as the Titans host the University of Michigan-Dearborn at Buysse Ballpark for a doubleheader. The first game will begin at 3:00 p.m. with game two following shortly after, and admission is free to all.
