Detroit's women's lacrosse team returns to Titan Field on St. Patrick's Day as the Titans host Notre Dame College at 4 p.m.
Sophomore
Emily Boissonneault (Brooklin, ON/Donald A. Wilson) currently leads the Titans in points and goals with 32 and 26, respectively, while freshman
Zaynib Hamze (Dublin, CA/Dublin) is tied with Boissonneault for a team-best six assists. Most recently, the Titans (3-5) dropped an 18-6 decision at UC Davis on Mar. 13 and UDM's last win came at Fresno State two days earlier by a score of 18-13. Detroit is 1-1 at home thus far, with the win coming against St. Francis (16-5) in the season opener on Feb. 21.
NDC (2-2), an NAIA school that is a member of the American Mideast Conference, enters Wednesday's match-up with a 2-2 overall record. Jenn Morse and Katie Christensen lead the Falcons in points with 13 apiece, while Morse has tallied a team-high 12 goals. Last time out for NDC resulted in a 14-4 loss at Gannon University on Mar. 13 and the Falcons' last win came on Mar. 6 at Erskine by a score of 21-1.
Following Wednesday's contest, the Titans will return to action when they face Duquesne in Pittsburgh on Friday.
