Sophomore midfielder
Corina Mahorn (Whitby, ON/Anderson CVI) has been named National Lacrosse Conference Player of the Week for her efforts on the field this past week.
During Spring Break, the Titans traveled to California where they ended with a 1-2 mark, with the win coming by a score of 18-13 at Fresno State on Mar. 11. In that contest, Mahorn exploded for half of UDM's goals as she took nine shots and found the back of the net with each one, for a career-high single game showing, while also picking up six groundballs and causing four turnovers.
On the week, Mahorn started all three games, ended with 10 goals, 11 shots on goal, eight ground balls and six caused turnovers.
Mahorn is the second Titan to receive this honor thus far this season as sophomore
Emily Boissonneault (Brooklin, ON/Donald A. Wilson) was named conference player of the week on Feb. 23.
The Titans return to action when they host Notre Dame College on St. Patrick's Day at 4 p.m.
