Detroit Titans junior Britt Pronk (London, ON/St. Thomas Aquinas) was named Horizon League Men's Golfer of the Week today after he finished runner-up at last week's Mission Inn Spring Fling.
The tournament was hosted by St. John's at Mission Inn Resort in Howey-In-The-Hills, FL.
Pronk led Detroit to fourth place as a team with his 77-69-146 score card. His final-round tally marked the lowest of the tournament, which was shortened to 36 holes after heavy rains washed out the first scheduled round. The score of 69 was just one shy of his college career best.
Pronk and the rest of the Titans will resume action March 27-28 at Ball State's Cardinal Classic in Jasper, IN.
