Masucci was an All-Catholic and All-America tackle in 1930. He was selected for the North-South All-Star game on Jan. 1, 1931. He later became the freshman football coach in 1931 and then a head coach in the Canadian Football League for 10 years with Sarnia, Hamilton, and Windsor winning the Grey Cup in 1934 and 1936. He returned to U-D as physical education instructor in 1943.
