Orr led the 1947 Titan baseball squad in hits, doubles, triples, home runs, total bases, runs scored, RBI, and batting average. He was an outstanding hitter in 1948 and 1949 who ended his career with a .312 average. He is one of the most feared Titan hitters of his era and also had an excellent glove in the outfield and saw action at third base. He was an Oakland County All-Star five times.
