Keating led the Titans in both receptions (24) and yardage (227) in 1941. He was second in both the previous year, but led in yards per catch (10.0) in the 1940 season. He had 35 career receptions for 337 yards and four touchdowns. He had deceptive speed and clever moves with the ball and was a hard man to cover downfield. He often drew comparisons to Don Hutson of the Green Bay Packers.
