Mulroy was a key individual in the success and welfare of both Titan Athletics and the University’s students during a career which spanned two decades. He served as Vice President of U-D in the Fifties and Sixties and was the first layman to hold that position at a Jesuit University. In his role, he had direct oversight of the Athletic Department and served as Chairman of the Athletic Board of Control. His fund-raising efforts helped lead the formation of the President’s Cabinet.
