A three-year starter as a Titan and was the team’s first free throw percentage leader in his latter two seasons. His .854 percentage from the line in both 1967 and again in ’68 established a new school record and still sits 5th (and 6th) on the all time list. He also set the career free throw mark with a percentage of .842 and now sits in 3rd place in that category. A deadly outside shooter, Salci’s best scoring average came in 1967, when he averaged 16.3. He became the 12th member of the Titans’ 1,000 Point Club finishing with 1,059 points for his career, good for a 14.3 average.
