Polvi is listed in the Top Five of five all-time pitching categories. He has the most career complete games (26) and shutouts (6) in Titan history and has the second highest career mark for innings pitched (270.1), and third for games started (39). He threw a one-hitter against Michigan en route to a 9-3 record as a senior. He was ranked 20th nationally with a 1.68 ERA as a junior and signed with the Detroit Tigers after graduation playing parts of three seasons in the Tiger organization.
