The early soccer teams set the standard for the women’s soccer program and one of those leading the way was Monica Kaltreider. She helped the Titans win their first regular season and MCC conference championship in 1995, as well as posting back-to-back years with a school-record 15 wins in 1995-96. She was a three-time First Team All-MCC honoree and was the MCC Player of the Year, Offensive Player of the Year and Third Team All-Great Lakes Region as a senior after recording 21 points on six goals and nine assists. She is the program leader in assists (43), second all-time in points (121) and was second in goals (39) when she graduated. Her 14 assists as a freshman are tied for first in school history, while her 18 goals and 45 points as a sophomore are second in the school record book.
