USTA/ITA Midwest Championships Doubles Results

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – The Detroit Titans women's tennis team officially ended the fall tournament season on Friday at the USTA/ITA Midwest Championships.

In the doubles main draw, the UDM duo of junior Amanda Cornwell (Waterford, MI/Kettering) and sophomore Carolina Salas Espinosa (Monterrey, Mexico/Preparatoria No. 7) received a bye into the second round, but could not get any further falling to Allison Falkin and Rachael White of Illinois, 8-5.

Detroit will return to action in January with the start of the dual campaign. In the near future, the Titans will release their official 2011 schedule.
