The Titans played in their third straight road match Sunday afternoon and dropped a 7-0 decision in women's tennis action against Miami (OH) at the Riverside Racquet Club in Hamilton, OH.

In doubles, UDM sophomore Amanda Cornwell (Waterford, MI/Kettering) and freshman Carolina Salas Espinosa (Monterrey, Mexico/Preparatoria No. 7) were paired at the No. 1 slot, and they came up just short as Stephanie Danesis and Megan Martzolf won by a score of 8-6.

Espinosa also played at No. 1 in singles, falling by scores of 6-4 and 6-1 to Anastasia Dracheva, while senior Svetlana Flankova (Riga, Latvia/Riga Secondary 21) competed at No. 3 and was defeated by Martzolf, 6-2 and 6-3.

The Titans will not return to action until Sunday, March 14 when they face Xavier in Cincinnati at 10 a.m.
