EDISON, N.J. -- The University of Detroit Mercy men's lacrosse team saw 10 players named to the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference's 2010-11 Academic Honor Roll, announced the MAAC on Monday.
A total of 1,123 athletes were honored for their achievements both academically and athletically by the MAAC, with the 10 Detroit selections the second most of any men's lacrosse team trailing only Canisius' 11. UDM is an associate member of the conference competing in just men's lacrosse.

Janer, Maruyama, Nowicki and Parrottino received the honor for the second-straight year, while all 10 of the Titans on the list were also named to the Academic All-MAAC team back in May.
To be eligible for the MAAC Academic Honor Roll, an athlete must hold a grade point average of 3.20 or higher on a 4.0 scale and be in his or her second year of athletic eligibility. The Honor Roll is open to both full-time and associate members of the MAAC with athletes represented in all 24 sports that the conference sponsors.
