Titan Media Day Press Conference

DETROIT (10/12/2012) -- The Titans hosted their annual “Media Day” at Calihan Hall on Friday afternoon as both the men's and women's basketball teams gathered for a day of publicity and fun.

Local media came out for a light lunch as they heard from UDM Associate Vice President & Director of Athletics Keri Gaither and Horizon League Senior Associate Commissioner for External Affairs Bill Benner. Gaither talked about the continued growth of the University of Detroit Mercy as well as the addition of the new strength and conditioning center that is currently under construction. 

Women's basketball head coach Autumn Rademacher and men's basketball head coach Ray McCallum were also at the podium during the opening press conference, giving the media some insights into the upcoming season before all the parties headed downstairs to Dick Vitale Court.

That is where media members had the opportunity for breakout sessions, photo opportunities and video interviews with individual players and coaches as well as observe team photo day for both programs.

The 2012-13 season and individual tickets are currently on sale for men's and women's basketball.
