Emily Boissonneault (Brooklin, ON/Donald A. Wilson) earned Co-Offensive Player of the Week from the National Lacrosse Conference, announced the NLC on Monday. She shared the honor with High Point's Chelsea Thompson.
Boissonneault tallied a team-best 11 goals in Detroit three games, including a season-high seven in the Titans win at San Diego State. The midfielder also had four caused turnovers and two ground balls.
She also had a pair of markers against California and St. Bonaventure with the historic marker coming against the Golden Bears. In the first half of the contest, Boissonneault beat the keeper and posted her 200th career goal and she now has 202 wearing the red, white and blue.
After playing five of their first six on the road, the Titans will have 11 days before their next contest as Detroit travels to Niagara on Mar. 23.
