DETROIT -- Just one more non-conference game to go before the Titans open the MAAC portion of their schedule as Detroit will make the trip to Hamden, CT, to face Quinnipiac on Saturday. Game time is set for 1:00 p.m., at the Quinnipiac Lacrosse Turf Field.
Fans can follow all the action with live stats, but there will not be a live webcast of the contest.
Detroit is 2-4 on the year and is in the midst of a five-game road swing that has seen UDM travel to North Carolina, Georgia and Washington D.C. The Titans have yet to play a true home game on campus with its only action in the state a 13-9 win over Michigan at Ultimate Soccer Arenas in Pontiac.
The Titans are coming off a 12-7 setback at Georgetown in a game that saw Detroit hang around all day, but were just unable to take the lead. The game was tied at 2-2 in the first and trailed 5-3 early in the third, but the Titans would not get any closer than two goals, cutting the deficit to three twice the rest of the way.

Joel Matthews continues to top the Titans in scoring as he posted his eighth career hat trick against the Hoyas and leads the team with 20 points on 12 goals and eight assists. He also has 11 ground balls and eight caused turnovers on the season.

Quinnipiac is 0-3 on the year and the game on Saturday will be the fourth in 14 days for the Bobcats. Quinnipiac has lost to Brown (12-7), at Air Force (13-3) and to Fairfield (9-6). Dylan Webster has been the main player on the year for the Bobcats as the attackman has won 16-of-32 face-offs and leads the team in goals (6), points (7) and ground balls (17). His six goals have come on just 12 shots.
Detroit is 0-2 all-time in the series falling 15-4 on the road in UDM's inaugural 2009 season and 13-8 in the Motor City in 2010.
