LAST TIME OUT
Every Titan on the active roster scored as the University of Detroit Mercy men's basketball team ran past Youngstown State, 101-60, Thursday night at the Beeghly Center. Junior guard Jason Calliste led the charge with a career-high 27 points as the Titans extended their winning streak to five-straight games.

The 101 points were the most scored for Detroit (11-5, 3-0 HL) in a conference game since scoring 103 points against Cleveland State (103-74) during the 1995-96 season. The Titans total was also the most allowed by Youngstown State at home since giving up 104 to Delaware State on Dec. 22, 1990. The win was also Detroit's 22nd straight when scoring 80 or more points dating back to the 2010-11 season.

Calliste led the Titans with 27 points on 10-of-14 shooting, including 6-of-8 from downtown, while classmates Ray McCallum and Evan Bruinsma scored 19 and 17 points, respectively. Calliste also registered a career-high seven assists to go along with six rebounds, while senior Nick Minnerath scored seven points and grabbed a game-high eight boards. Juwan Howard, Jr. pitched in nine points and Doug Anderson added eight, all by the way of dunks, for the Titan starters. Off the bench sophomore P.J. Boutte scored four points to go along with a career-high seven assists, while Gabriel Dos Santos, Jermaine Lippert, Ugochukwu Njoku, Olumide Solanke and Anton Wilson each added a bucket. The basket for Solanke was his first as a Titan.

Detroit won the battle on the boards, 46-31, and forced 20 Penguin turnovers, which resulted in 24 points for the Titans. Detroit shot 53.9 percent (41-76) overall, including 55 percent (11-20) from downtown, while holding YSU to just 37.0 percent (20-54) overall.

SERIES WITH CLEVELAND STATE
This will be the 54th meeting between Detroit and Cleveland State, with the Titans owning a 36-17 lead. The Vikings swept the regular season series last year, before the Titans topped CSU, 63-58, in the Horizon League Semifinals at Valparaiso.
