Senior Evan Bruinsma led the way with his second double-double of the season tallying 25 points and 14 rebounds as well as three blocks and three steals. He was 10-of-15 from the field, including 8-of-11 in the first half where he netted 20 points.

Toledo (6-0) shot 52.7% on the night, including 12-of-21 from behind the arc. UT's Rian Pearson led the Rockets with a game-high 30 points.

Rhode Island (6-4) had a chance to win at the buzzer, but a fade-away jumper by E.C. Matthews was short as the Rams were edged 50-49 by Providence Thursday.
