EDISION, N.J. (2/16/2015) -- Another multi-point game is in the books for
Mark Anstead as the University of Detroit Mercy freshman men's lacrosse player was named the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference's (MAAC) Rookie of the Week on Monday.
It is the second-straight week that a Titan rookie has earned the accolade as
Sean Birney took home the award last week.
Anstead tied for the team lead with three points on a goal and team-best two assists. He got the offense going by tallying assists on Detroit's first two goals before scoring his marker in the second period.
He is now tied for the team lead with five points and has a team-high three helpers through his first two collegiate games.
