DETROIT (9/16/2015) -- The season can't come soon enough for basketball fans in the Motor City and to get things started, Detroit Pistons head coach Stan Van Gundy and University of Detroit Mercy head men's basketball coach Ray McCallum will get together for a night of basketball chatter called "Talkin' Hoops In The D".
 
The event is set for Thursday, Oct. 15, from 6-8:00 p.m., in the President's Ballroom on the campus of Detroit. A light dinner will also be served.
 
Tickets to the event are set at $75 per person and $125 for a couple.
 
Sponsorship opportunities are also available starting at $1,000.
