DETROIT (5/17/2018) -- The University of Detroit Mercy women's basketball program and head coach
Bernard Scott are set to host three summer basketball camps from Calihan Hall, two Elite Camps and one three-day Kid's Camp.
The Elite Camps are set for Saturday, June 16 and Saturday, August 4 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. The cost per camp is $60 for the player with T-Shirts being included in that cost. Campers are encouraged to bring their own lunch. All campers will work hands on with coach Scott and his staff and receive an elite level of competition, including individual workouts.
The Kid's Day Camp is for children of all ages but focused towards grades third through eighth. The three-day camp is from Monday-Wednesday, June 25-27 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day. The cost to attend the camp is $90 and comes with a T-Shirt. Fun games and drills, instruction from Detroit Mercy players and coaches along with camp photos and awards are part of the three-day camp.
Head coach
Bernard Scott is entering his fourth season at the helm of the Titan women's basketball program in 2018-19. Coach Scott, who has two daughters of his own, has installed a family environment within his program, both on the court and off of it.
Both camps will be run from Calihan Hall, located at 4001 W. McNichols Road in Detroit on the campus of the University of Detroit Mercy.
