WAYNE, Mich. (6/5/2018) -- Incoming University of Detroit Mercy women's basketball guard
Jess Bicknell (Saginaw, Mich. / Heritage) was named the MVP of the second annual Michigan Top 20 Girls High School Basketball All-Star Game, held this season at Wayne Memorial High School.
Bicknell, who won a Class A state championship with Heritage High School earlier this season, scored 17 points and added three assists during Saturday's game in a showcase of some of the top high school players across the state of Michigan.
The East All-Stars won over the West All-Stars by a 94-71 margin.

She was a two-time Class A Honorable Mention All-State honoree and four-time All-Saginaw Valley League guard for the Hawks. She helped lead Heritage to a 27-1 record during her senior season and the school's second state championship.
