Sophomore James McCann (Holland, Mich.) placed first in the 5,000 meter run at GVSU's Mike Lints Alumni Open on Saturday, running a PR time of 15:12.01. He crossed the line six seconds ahead of the next competitor in earning a new PR by more than one second in the 5000m.
