The Detroit Mercy media relations and marketing and promotions departments are responsible for all releases, broadcasts, video, website, statistics, graphics and social media content for the Titans' 17 sports and most of its social media content.
We would like to thank all the media for the interest and coverage of Titan Athletics. We will make every effort possible to ensure that your needs for covering Detroit Mercy Athletics are met. The following is helpful information and guidelines to assist you with your coverage of the red, white and blue
All media members MUST go through the Detroit Mercy Media Relations Department for ALL interview requests regarding student-athletes, coaches and staff members. All interviews must be arranged by the Media Relations Department. Student-Athletes have been instructed not to grant any interview, in person or by telephone, not arranged by the Media Relations staff.
Interviews with student-athletes must be coordinated through the Athletic Media Relations Department at 24 to 48 hours in advance to minimize demands on the student-athlete's time. Phone interviews must also be coordinated through the Athletic Media Relations Department with the requested player returning the call at an agreed-upon time from the Athletic Media Relations office.
Credential Requests
Credentials for Detroit Mercy home games are issued for working media only and should be requested as early as possible due to space limitations. All members of the media must request credentials in writing through the respective sport SIDs, which can be found listed below. Requests are honored from sports editors of daily newspapers and sports directors of television and radio stations as well as online blogs and podcasts. Requests from individuals not employed by a media outlet WILL NOT be considered.
Note: The athletic media relations office will review all requests and holds full discretion to deny credentials and credential requests at any time.
