Men's soccer senior defender Jake Poorman (Brighton, Mich.) scored the game-winning goal -- his first collegiate goal -- in the Titans' 2-1 season-opening victory at Northern Kentucky on Thursday. Poorman, who had two shots and played all 90 minutes in the victory, scored in the 66th minute of the match to break a 1-1 tie and helped shut down the Norse at the other end of the field as the Titans started the season 1-0.
