Women's track and field sophomore Allison Sherman (Lake Orion, Mich.) was victorious at the Saginaw Valley State University Tune-Up on Friday, crossing the line in first place in the 3,000-meter run. Sherman, crossed in a time of 10:43.16, which was 8 seconds better than the next competitor. Her teammate, Kayla Hughes, was just behind in third in the event.
