Redshirt-sophomore midfielder Kaitlyn Wandelt (Sayville, N.Y.) tallied six points, 17 draw controls and nine ground balls as Detroit Mercy went 1-1 last weekend with a 16-6 win over Butler and a narrow 12-10 loss at Cincinnati. Wandelt nearly tied a school record with nine draw controls at Butler, adding one goal and two assists. At Cincinnati on Monday, Wandelt again was a force with eight draw controls and seven ground balls, adding one goal and two assists again. She went past 100 career draw controls in game No. 31.
