Men's track and field senior Bonanza Cummings (Montego Bay, Jamaica) set a new school record in the 100-meter dash in Saturday's outdoor meet at Oakland University, winning the event with a time of 10.60 seconds for the Titans. His time was 0.34 seconds better than the next finisher in the event and topped the previous Detroit Mercy mark of 10.63, held by former Titan standout Vushaun Landrum.
