Senior James Hill finished in the top 10 at the Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate as he earned a share of ninth with a career 36-best 140, five shots off the lead. He carded his second straight 2-under 70 in round two, knocking in five birdies with 10 pars and tied for fourth in the event with 10 total birdies. He was also tied for sixth in the competition on the par 4's with a -3, 3.85 average en route to his fifth career top-10 finish.
