Graduate senior Liz Murphy had a strong week in the circle for the Titans, picking up a much-needed win in conference play against Green Bay. For the week, she started four games and totaled 24 innings, allowing eight earned runs on 25 hits, and eight walks with nine strikeouts. She was the tough-luck losing pitcher in complete games in a 2-0 setback at Michigan State and 2-1 decision against Western Michigan, before throwing a five-hit shutout with five punchouts in a 4-0 triumph over the Phoenix.
