Senior distance runner Ben Kendell (Huntington Woods, Mich.) set a school record in the 10,000-meter run Saturday at the Stanford Invitational and qualified for the NCAA Track & Field East Preliminaries in the process, crossing the line in a time of 29:24.87. He placed 23rd overall in the race.
