Junior hurler Ashley Mauser (Shelby Township, Mich.) fired a school-record 15 strikeouts in a 4-0 win over Youngstown State and went 2-0 on the day Friday, earning a victory in a 6-4 Titans win against YSU. In the 4-0 win, Mauser went seven innings, scattering six base-runners in a two-hit shutout, her first of the season. On the weekend, she recorded 23 strikeouts and a 2.62 ERA in 10.2 innings pitched.
