Junior men's tennis standout Artem Vasheshnikov (Kiev, Ukraine) picked up two victories at No. 1 singles to help lead the Titans to a 2-0 weekend and the top of the Horizon League standings at 4-1 in the league. Vasheshnikov earned a big 6-3, 6-4 victory at the top flight over Cleveland State's Nico Mostardi, who had previously been unbeaten in HL play. He also earned a 7-6 win at No. 1 doubles with teammate Jenya Sirous with Detroit Mercy winning 4-3 over the Vikings. Vasheshnikov then won in straight-sets again in Sunday's 6-1 victory over Youngstown State, winning 6-2, 7-6 at No. 1 singles. On the year, he is 8-8 at the top flight in singles.
