Junior Alek Mauro claimed second for the second time this season at the Winona State Warrior Invitational. Mauro posted his second-straight 1-over 73 and was second overall with a season-best 218 (72-73-73), just three shots off the lead. His final round saw him knock in three birdies with 11 pars as he tied for sixth in the event with 10 birdies and fourth with 33 pars to go with an eagle. He was second on the weekend on the par 4's with an even-par average and tied for fourth on the par 5's with a -3, 4.75 average.
