Sophomore Elijah Major had a strong start to the outdoor season as he recorded a pair of top-five finishes at Cincinnati's Oliver Nikoloff Invitational. He was runner-up in the 200-meters in 22.07 seconds and claimed third in the 100m in a time of 10.53.
