Junior Ariel Chang won her first collegiate event as she earned medalist at Youngstown State's Roseann Schwartz Invitational. She posted a 1-under 71 in the final round to tie for first with a career-tying 144 (73-71). The tiebreaker was the lowest second-round score, giving her the win over Bucknell's Sofia Nogalo (70-74). Chang was fourth heading into the final round and after a bogey to start the day, she finished the front nine with three birdies and four pars. On the back nine, she parred 10, 12, 13 and 14 before knocking in a birdie on 15. She parred the next two holes and went out in style, recording a birdie on 18 for the low round and the win.
