Latifa Amzil had scored just seven points on 2-of-7 shooting in her first three games as a Titan, but she exploded for 16 points on 6-of-7 from the field and 3-of-4 from three in just 12 minutes in the 71-64 victory against USC Upstate in the GATA Turkey Throwdown. She then pulled down seven rebounds against host Georgia Southern.
