Men's golf freshman James Hill (Lakeshore, Ont.) made quite the debut in red, white and blue for the Titans over the weekend, carding a 2-under 214 and shooting a 3-under 69 in the final round Sunday to place seventh individually. He helped pace the Titans to a fifth-place finish as a team out of 18 squads. Hill's 214 (74-71-69) was the best score by a Titan since 2016 and his under-par round was the first by a Detroit Mercy freshmen in a tournament since 2012.
