Senior Ben Kendell (Huntington Woods, Mich.) set a course record on his way to capturing the 32nd annual Running Fit-Detroit Mercy Titans Invitational on Saturday from Cass Benton Park in Northville. His time of 19:39 broke an 18-year course record and he became the first competitor in the race's history to win three consecutive individual titles. As a team, Detroit Mercy finished second on the men's side with 65 points, trailing only Bucknell (38 points).
