Senior cross country standout Ben KendellĀ (Huntington Woods, Mich.) became the first Titan male runner in history to win the National Catholic Championships when he finished in first place at the 39thĀ running of the meet, hosted by Notre Dame, Friday afternoon. Kendell won the race with a time of 24:33, which was 14 seconds ahead of the next competitor. KendellĀ is now 2-for-2 in race wins on the young 2018 season. He was named the Horizon League Runner of the Week this past week following his win at the Running Fit-Detroit Mercy Invitational.
