Titan harrier Ben Kendell (Huntington Woods, Mich.) captured the first Horizon League men's cross country individual crown in school history Saturday afternoon, winning the title with a time of 24:19. It was the third-fastest run at the league meet in school history. He was named the Horizon League Athlete of the Year in cross country following the HL victory and has won four of five races entered this season. Kendell placed in the top-five at the league meet in all four seasons of cross country, finishing runner-up twice along with his win on Saturday.
