Freshman Daniel Lanfear (Harbor Beach, Mich.) helped pace the Titans in the season-opening track and field meet Friday, placing second in the high jump at Notre Dame's Blue & Gold Invitational. Lanfear cleared 1.97 meters or 6-feet, 5.5-inches in the high jump for the Titans with it being the No. 6 mark all-time in Detroit Mercy history.
