Junior face-off specialist Alex Jarzembowski (Livonia, Mich.) broke a school record in Saturday's 15-12 road victory over Big East foe Marquette, winning a school-record 19 face-offs in the win. Jarzembowski won 19 of 30 face-offs and added five ground balls, also scoring a goal for Detroit Mercy, which improved to 2-1 on the season. The Titans earned their first win ever over a Big East opponent as well as Marquette. On the season, Jarzembowski is 44-for-77 (57 percent) on face-offs in 2019.
