Junior attackman Seth Mendell (Carmel, Ind.) tied a career-high with six goals to help lead Detroit Mercy (4-2, 1-0 MAAC), which cruised past St. Bonaventure by a 16-8 margin in its MAAC opener. With his six goals, Mendell is already up to 18 on the season, which is one shy of his career-high of 19 set last year. Mendell was one of nine Titans to find the back of the the net against the Bonnies.
