Freshman attackman Max Payton (Grosse Pointe Woods, Mich.) scored a hat trick in his first collegiate start for the Titans (4-3), scoring three goals in a 12-9 setback on the road at Quinnipiac on Saturday. Payton added one caused turnover and one ground ball, putting four of five shots on goal. Payton scored the first two Titan goals in his second career game and then completed the hat trick at 9:01 in the third.
