Senior shortstop Courtney Gilbert (Delhi, Ont.) helped the Titans to a series win Wednesday over rival Oakland, hitting a walk-off home run in the bottom the ninth inning as Detroit Mercy rallied from down 3-0 to win 4-3. She had three hits and scored four runs in the series against Oakland and for the week overall, recorded three RBI, five walks, eight total bases, while batting .278. On the season, Gilbert is batting .297 and has scored a team-high 22 runs, ranking second in hits (30), doubles (8) and RBI (18).
