Senior track and field thrower Eric Leduc (West Bloomfield, Mich.) won the hammer throw at Oakland University's Golden Grizzly Invitational over the weekend with a toss of 52.41 meters (171'11") as Detroit Mercy competed against several other schools in Rochester. His throw is the second-best hammer throw in the Horizon League during the outdoor track and field season. He won the throw at the Golden Grizzly Invitational by over three meters.
