Women's golf junior Kendall Payne (Livonia, Mich.) tied her career-low for a round, carding 4-over a 76 in the final round to lead the Titans with a seventh-place finish at the Golden Grizzlies Invitational on Monday. It was her first career top-10 finish. Payne had a two-day total of 155 (79-76), also tying a career-low for two rounds, to lead Detroit Mercy at the tournament. As a team, Detroit Mercy finished in sixth place overall.
