Women's golf junior Kendall Payne (Livonia, Mich.) closed out the fall season with a Top-25 finish, placing 22nd at the Central Michigan Chippewa Invitational last Tuesday. Payne shot a 160 (77-83) at Birmingham Country Club in Birmingham. The Titans finished in a tie-for-eighth place with the host Chippewas in a large field. Payne, who had an eagle in round one, had her best career finish earlier in the fall, placing seventh in the season opener at the Golden Grizzlies Invitational.
